Heathers
SLAMS Musical Theatre Company presents Heathers the Musical.
Based on the cult classic film of the same name, Heathers is the story of Veronica Sawyer, a senior at the fictional Westerberg High. Veronica longs to be cool like the clique of it-girls that runs Westerberg: the unaffected, unattainable Heathers. Unfortunately, in addition to awesome levels of popularity, the Heathers are also cruel, choosing to mock and bully their kingdom into submission. When Veronica uses her skills as a forger to get the Heathers out of detention, she impresses their leader Heather Chandler— so much so that they agree to let her into their exclusive club. At first Veronica is thrilled—until she finds out that being one of the Heathers means bullying the same kids she used to call friends.

Shrek
SLAMS Musical Theatre Company presents Shrek the Musical. Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek The Musical is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure, featuring all new songs from Jeanine Tesori (Thoroughly Modern Millie; Caroline, or Change) and a sidesplitting book by David Lindsay-Abaire. Shrek brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage and proves there’s more to the story than meets the ears. “Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek….” And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you’ve got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there’s one on hand… and his name is Shrek.

5 Guys Named Moe (vember)
SLAMS Music Theatre Company is bringing back their 2013 hit production of “Five Guys Named Moe” for a special fundraising tour for “Movember”.
Held in three different venues over three weekends SLAMS wants audiences to enjoy this this exhilarating jazz musical while raising much needed funds for research into men’s health issues. His woman left him, he’s broke and it’s almost five o’clock in the mornin’. But don’t be worryin’ ’bout our hero, Nomax. Out of Nomax’s radio pop five guys named Moe. They cajole, wheedle, comfort and jazz him with the whimsical hit songs of Louis Jordan. Directed by Joel Batalha Musically Directed by Phill Scanlon Choreography by Hayley Wood

Once Upon a Mattress
If you thought you knew the story of ‘The Princess and The Pea,’ you may be in for a walloping surprise! Carried on a wave of wonderful songs, by turns hilarious and raucous, romantic and melodic, this rollicking spin on the familiar classic of royal courtship and comeuppance provides for some side-splitting shenanigans. Chances are you’ll never look at fairy tales quite the same way again.
